The story of the <unk> machine is my bachelor dissertation project.
The immersive experience is part of a larger project, in which I researched co-creativity between an artist and a machine whilst writing this story. The machine learning model, which was trained to write science fiction, generated several paragraphs, which I used in combination with other creative process techniques to make the story. Some of the sentences you heard were exactly as generated, some were edited and some were written by me.
The story is used as a basis for this immersive experience, which represents a novel way of storytelling through the interactive digital medium.
